IAC Members are invited to join as many airworthy Cessna 120 and 140s (and some other types)
as can be mustered at RAF Henlow on Tuesday August 14th, 2018, to celebrate their 120’s first
flight in 1948. Landing fees have been waived, Crown Indemnity of £7.5 million is required. 100LL
fuel will be available at the RAF Henlow Flying Club (currently £1.90/l.)
Enquiries to Rod Webb via the email, stating aircraft registration, point of departure, pilot name and
passenger name/names, if known now, (will be required, as RAF Henlow is an MOD airfield).
Currently 60 aircraft pre-booked to attend. Rod hopes some of us can make it. Registrations can
be made until Sunday 12th August. Joining instructions will be issued nearer the time.
Henlow is due to be disposed of by the MOD by 2020, so there may be few opportunities to visit
this historic airfield.
